The Parco Faunistico La Torbiera has been estabilished as a Center for the reproduction and study of endangered species.
Special attention is given to the italian and European Fauna as well to the world's rarest feline species it must be stressed that in the conservation of endangered species habitat protection should be considered as important an aspect as captive breeding.
For this reason La Torbiera takes part in conservation programs together with other Istitutions which share this same view.
The woods and wetlands of La Torbiera are areas of particular environmental interest and offer a refuge to several wild species.
Visitors are not allowed in certain areas of the park in order not to disturb this wildlife. La Torbiera wishes to offer a place where you can encounter animals and nature, an occasion to know, enjoy and respect them.
The Parco Faunistico La Torbiera hopes you will share this same respectful attitude toward this place which belongs first of all to the animals.
